Anastasia is an expert in the intersection of global systems and arts and culture. At Grasshopper, she has led development of Humankind, a cultural movement for empathy, and GrassUp, an upcycling initiative which repurposes corporate waste into products of higher value. Previously, she served the International Rescue Committee as a refugee resettlement intern, primarily with clients from Iraq, Afghanistan and Syria. She graduated cum laude from Columbia University with a BA in Political Science. Her studies concentrated on contemporary diplomacy, human rights, nationalism, and the politics of urban development. She is a native Russian speaker.

Avraham has diverse experience and expertise advising companies and non-profits in Education, Health, and Technology in strategic partnerships, Social responsibility and Impact. Including, Airbnb, CDC Foundation, FundRx, Neubase, Kiva, Outstanding Foods, Swift Shift, Tent Foundation, US Science and Engineering Festival, Toptal, USA Rare Earth, Epibone and Zearn.
Avraham Berkowitz serves as Senior Advisor for Global Impact, Synthetic Neurobiology Group, MIT Media Lab headed by Breakthrough neuroscientist Professor Ed Boyden.
Rabbi Berkowitz served as a Director at Chabad Headquarters and the Global Chabad Development Fund (MIDF), from 2010-October 2016 providing supplemental support for educational & humanitarian programs in 89 countries, and continues to serve as an alternate delegate of the Chabad NGO at the United Nations in New York.
A lifelong student of the Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem Schneerson of righteous memory, whose teachings guide Avraham’s personal values and global mission to build a world of peace, health, justice, wisdom, faith and good for all.
In 2010 Avraham worked to rebuild the Chabad House in Mumbai, India. Previously, as Executive Director of the Federation of Jewish Communities of the CIS based in Moscow, Russia from 1999 to 2009, Avraham led global communications,media relations,and international development, serving over 400 Jewish communities in fifteen republics of the Former Soviet Union.
Avraham is a member of the World Economic Forums Civil Society community and works with leaders of major NGOs, collaborating with businesses and Governments to tackle global challenges. He serves as a board member for the Inspirasia Foundation, which supports nonprofits in health services, education, and job skills in Indonesia, India and Thailand.

In 2022, she founded Humankind Capital, an impact fund investing in rapid growth companies applying frontier technologies for environmental and social benefit. The Fund leans on Ms. Gutman’s record as an innovator in impact investing & programming. Her experience includes starting and growing dozens of start ups, non profit organizations, global CSR & sustainability programs and multilateral advocacy campaigns. Her portfolio spans global issues to include: clean energy & climate action, renewable infrastructure, public health, advanced technology, digital inclusion, food systems, human rights, urban planning, workforce development and more. She is a strategist for Fortune 500 companies, including Samsung, General Electric, Southwest Airlines, Kraft and Disney. She counsels clients through tipping points in business operations, and leads them toward sustainable growth and conscious leadership.
Grasshopper manages every stage of the venture building process, from conception and strategy to fundraising and global execution. Grasshopper Film has acquired a library of over 400 independent, foreign and documentary films, with 4 Academy Award nominations and 1 win. Ms. Gutman and her business partner, Ryan Krivoshey, launched Correspondent Productions. They are executive producers on the film PERCY, starring Christopher Walken and are producing mission driven documentaries and narrative features
Beata was born in Odesa, Ukraine. She lives in New York City with her husband and 3 sons. -
Brando is an environmentalist, climate activist, impact investor and futurist. After an illustrious career in the luxury fashion business – essentially launching Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills with brands such as Fendi, Versace, and Pratesi amongst others – Brando focused his attention on the world’s climate issues by co-founding Pro Natura International. As its Executive Vice Chair, Brando designed, funded and implemented sustainable development projects in 63 countries and the organization was the recipient of the US Academy of Sciences’ “Mitchell Prize” (the equivalent of the Nobel Prize for Sustainability) for his work in the Amazon.
